Social Worker - Average caseload is 18 in Child Protection tean

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Experience within section 7s, child protection, PLO and initial assessment
• Extensive Post Qualifying Social Work experience
• Social Work Qualification

NonStop Care is currently working with a reputable local authority near the Southend area, who are seeking a Social Worker within the Child Protection team.

You are required to provide professional casework to a caseload (Average of 18) of children and young people within the long term children social work teams. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with children and families who require a longer term social work intervention including those subject to child protection plans, complex child in need, PLO/Pre Proceedings and, if required, within the court arena.

They are offering hybrid working so workers do not have to be in the office all of the time, but will need to be able to visit their children within statutory timescales.
