Social Worker - Adults Community Team - £36/hr

Nonstop Care is working with a local authority in the East of England that is looking for a social worker to join their Adults Community Team.

The role involves dealing with challenging service users and complex situations, requiring a high level of concentration, communication skills, and emotional resilience. This can be professionally rewarding as you contribute to the well-being of individuals and families.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Apply legal frameworks adeptly, demonstrating legal literacy in acts such as Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Carry out assessments under the care act with clients who have a physical disability, autism or a learning disability
  • Complete reassessments and reviews
  • Complete and manage safeguarding enquiries

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
  • Ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Full drivers licence with vehicle access
