Social Worker (Adults and Children)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Social Workers to join our team on a temporary basis.

Job Description:

As a Locum Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing social work services and support to individuals and families within the local community. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating services to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals. This position requires experience working within the UK social services system and a deep understanding of relevant legislation and policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Social Work or a related field
• Registered as a Social Worker with the relevant regulatory body in the UK (e.g., Social Work England, Social Care Wales, Scottish Social Services Council)
• Proven experience working as a Social Worker within the UK social services system.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the UK
• Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in complex situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with individuals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for documentation and communication purposes.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and handle varying caseloads.
