We are looking to recruit a Social Work Assistant who has the drive and determination to provide positive outcomes for young people!

The successful candidates will join an experienced and committed team who are focused on supporting young people to make a successful transition towards independence and have the ability to work in partnership with others to achieve timely outcomes.

THIS POSITION IS:

* 37 hours per week

* Initial 3 month contract

* £15.17 ltd per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will hold a small caseload of care leavers 18+ and will be working on a 1:1 basis to support their transition to independence and working collaboratively with young people to complete assessments and pathway plans that are reflective of their goals and aspirations. In addition, you will also provide 1:1 support to young people based within NAS Supported tenancies ensuring that they are appropriately supported to learn the skills they need to live independently.

REQUIREMENTS

* You will hold an NVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.

* You will have experience of supporting young people with a range of issues including housing, health, education, training, employment, finances, emotional well-being, and skills for independence.
