The Role

We are looking for a Social Work Assistant who has the drive and determination to provide positive outcomes for young people on their case load and who are innovative in their approach to working with young people. You will hold a small caseload of care leavers 18+ and will be working on a 1:1 basis to support their transition to independence and working collaboratively with young people to complete assessments and pathway plans that are reflective of their goals and aspirations. In addition, you will also provide 1:1 support to young people based within NAS Supported tenancies ensuring that they are appropriately supported to learn the skills they need to live independently.

The Candidate

* NVQ Level 3 in Child Care/Social Care or equivalent qualification
* Evidence of recent direct work with young people in the looked after system or care leavers
* Enhanced DBS
