We are seeking a talented Music Events Social Media Manager with a passion for and experience in the music industry with expertise in advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will lead the social media efforts for our music events, ensuring authenticity, engagement, and paid promotion across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to promote our music events including festivals, club nights, clothing brands and music releases.

· Manage and curate content across social media platforms, including Facebook,

Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube, to build excitement and anticipation for upcoming events.

· Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns on social media platforms to drive ticket and clothing sales, increase event attendance, and expand audience reach.

· Monitor ad performance metrics, analyse results, and optimize campaigns to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve desired outcomes.

· Collaborate with event organisers, artists, sponsors, and vendors to develop engaging social media content, including announcements, behind-the-scenes footage, artist interviews, and promotions.

· Foster partnerships and collaborations with influencers, music bloggers, local businesses, and media outlets to amplify event promotion and reach new audiences.

· Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing and event promotion within the music industry.

· Create content for use across various social media platforms.

· Provide regular reports and insights on social media performance, including key metrics, engagement trends, and audience demographics.

· Attend some events to capture footage for content creation.

Skills and experience:

· An education in Marketing is desirable.

· Proven recent experience and minimum of 1 recent year in social media management, with a focus on promoting music events.

· Expertise in Meta Business Management Suite .

· A strong understanding of advertising principles and experience managing paid campaigns on social media platforms, particularly Facebook Ads Manager and Instagram Ads is essential, Tiktok and Snapchat are a plus.

· Passion for music, fashion, nightlife and festivals and familiarity with various genres, artists, and event trends.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and content creation.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

· Proficiency in social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.

· Basic knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is essential.

· The ability to capture video content via mobile phone is essential.

· Basic video creation and editing skills are essential.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

· Be flexible and available to travel.

Hybrid working with some possible travel
