Social Marketing and Social Media Officer
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, flexible and self-motivated Communications & Social Marketing Officer to provide support to the Champs Public Health Collaborative Communications & Social Marketing team.
The Champs Communications & Social Marketing team is responsible for all internal and external communications, including media relations and developing and implementing social marketing campaigns.
Champs Collaborative works with a range of stakeholders, including the NHS, across Cheshire & Merseyside to improve and protect public health and reduce health inequalities.
An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, you will have GCSEs in Maths and English equivalent to level C and above and a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience of delivering high quality communications activity, copywriting, social media, website content management and e-mail marketing systems is also required
Qualifications: • GCSEs in Maths and English equivalent to level C and above and equivalent experience.
European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent competence with IT applications.
Royal Society of Arts (RSA) II and III Word Processing or equivalent level of skill. Knowledge and Skills:
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of administrative procedures, including IT systems and project management.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time and self effectively to meet strict deadlines.
Tactfulness, political awareness and diplomacy with excellent inter-personal skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic; proactive and innovative with a "can do" attitude.
Flexible and adaptable to manage competing demands and changing circumstances with ability to manage non-routine tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals and organisations. Experience:
Experience of delivering high quality communications and marketing activity on time and to budget.
Experience of website content management systems and Google analytics.
Experience of copywriting for newsletters, publications and websites.
Experience of writing media releases and media liaison.
Experience of social media management.
Experience using e-mail marketing systems (e.g. Mailchimp) and compiling analytical reports.
Experience of collaborative and partnership working
