Are you looking for an SMT Technician - Electronics job in St Neots, Cambridgeshire?

The SMT Technician - Electronics based in St Neots will be working for a leading organisation in the electronics industry. You must be able to operate Surface Mount Technology placement machines, change out feeders, identify components, assemble boards as per work instructions and troubleshoot and correct problems.

The ideal SMT Technician - Electronics based in St Neots will be responsible for:

- Program, Debug, Setup, Operate and Maintain: Pick & Place equipment, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, Solder Paste Inspection equipment.

- Perform setup / change over procedures on equipment to ready for the next work order.

- Troubleshoot, root cause and document defective product or process failures. This includes utilising troubleshooting tools such as: X-Ray, Microscope other inspection tools.

- Understand and follow ESD requirements, use ESD precautions in material and product handling.

This SMT Technician - Electronics job will be commutable from Bedford, Huntingdon, Cambridge, St Ives, Biggleswade, Rushden, Yaxley.
