Responsibilities: As a Small Works Manager specialising in Insurance Repairs, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the end-to-end process of insurance repair projects, from initial assessment to completion.
  • Collaborating with insurance companies, assessors, and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Conducting thorough site assessments to identify repair needs and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Coordinating and scheduling small works projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Overseeing subcontractors and in-house teams to deliver high-quality repairs within budget.
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation, including progress reports and financial records.
  • Implementing and enforcing health and safety standards on all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Small Works Manager.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • SMSTS and CSCS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple small works projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
