The Role

Toolex Limited has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering machinist with knowledge of milling, turning and precision assembly to join our small team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of engineering machinery, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual milling and turning machines.
  • Assemble precision parts to a high standard.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines.
  • Monitor the performance of machines and make adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machines when necessary.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities.

The Company

With over 45 years’ experience supplying precision cutting tools to the engineering industry. Toolex now operates from its purpose-built facility in Wincanton, Somerset.

Our state of the art, modern workshops boast manual and sophisticated multi axis CNC machines which include pallet loading systems to allow unmanned operation, achieving excellent production rates.

This along with our extensive on-site stock levels and ability to manufacture special items on very short lead times has enabled us to maintain our ethos for quality and service.
