Our client based in Kent are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join their growing Civils team on a full time, permanent basis paying between £35,00 - £50,000 based on experience and qualifications.

The client, who are a Principal Contractor within the Rail Sector require someone to join them in Kent but who can cover projects and act as point of contact across Sussex and West Sussex.

The purpose of the role is to assist with overseeing the site safety and works for our Civils team along Rail routes to provide a safe passage way for the UK's transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact on delivery sites for internal and external stakeholders and responsible for all activity/works.
  • Produce accurate scoping of works and submit in a timely manner to the Project Manager.
  • Proactively liaise with the Project Manager to ensure understanding of delivery requirements and to inform communication.
  • Supervise, direct and motivate internal colleagues and external labour, providing clarity on tasks/work and problem-solving to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Give toolbox talks, task and SSOW briefings to the delivery team, as required.
  • Ensure the Civils teams are equipped with all they need to deliver safe and quality works, including materials, PPE, etc.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the Rail industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • PTS
  • SSSTS
  • Experience in scoping and reporting works/delivery
