Shorterm Group are delighted to be partnered with a global engineering/manufacturing business in their search for a number of full time, permanent Site Operatives.

Experience for this role is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided. Currently they have projects live across the globe and are looking to appoint people ASAP. Your main role will be mixing, and applying fire protective products to a variety of structures, these are usually Oil & Gas rigs or Wind Turbines, however, they supply to a variety of different industries so no one project is ever the same!

This role is project based, with most sites being overseas so ideally you'll have experience working away from home.

As there is international travel involved, you must be a passport holder and have had your first two COVID jabs. Ideally you'll live close to a major airport as international travel is often required. All accommodation/travel is paid for. A driving license is essential for this role, but we will accept people who are currently learning to drive and will be due to pass their test within the 1st 6 months of employment.

To start with you'll complete your training on site, overseeing the entire process from start to finish, all products are mixed on-site so this is where you'll start. Once you've mastered the first phase of the process you'll move onto applying the products onto structures. This would usually suit someone from a paint sprayer background as it is a very similar process but we are currently welcoming applications from all backgrounds.

You'll be expected to be away from home up to 12 weeks at a time, and when you do return home you'll be paid a base rate whilst in between projects.
