Site Manager
Position: Site Manager
Location: Greater London and surrounding areas.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Van, fuel and travel allowance.
Our client is specialising in innovative designs and pioneering construction methods for artificial sports pitches and athletics tracks, their projects push boundaries and set new standards in the industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead Groundworks construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, providing guidance and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Groundworks construction or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Access to project sites primarily involves travel within the vicinity of the M25, hence a valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
