Job Opportunity: Contract Manager - Roofing (Site Manager to progress into a contract manager)

Location: Warwick, Leamington Spa area - Office Based

Time: ASAP

Salary Range: £45,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Are you an experienced professional with a background in roofing and construction? Our client, a well-established roofing company, is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee projects in the Warwick and Leamington Spa region. Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
• Client Relations: Liaise with councils and housing associations to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional service.
• Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals, including roofers and surveyors.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for project commencement.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Surveying: Utilize your expertise to assess project sites and provide accurate measurements.
• Quoting: Prepare and review project quotes, balancing cost-effectiveness and quality.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in roofing or construction is essential.
• SMSTS and Health & Safety: Possess relevant certifications (SMSTS) and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Team Leadership: Ability to manage and inspire a team effectively.
• Surveying Skills: Familiarity with surveying techniques and accurate measurements.
• Excellent Communication: Clear communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions.
• Quoting Experience: Comfortable handling multiple quotes daily.
