The Role

  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols on site at all times.
  • Oversee day-to-day site management for fast-paced fit-out projects spanning 4 to 20 weeks.
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure they possess necessary resources and deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure timely and top-quality project completion.
  • Utilize efficient software for site administration (training provided).
  • Interpret drawings and plans to provide actionable guidance to site-based staff and subcontractors.
  • Plan ahead to facilitate effective coordination of labor and materials on site.
  • Coordinate material and equipment procurement, liaising with the Purchasing Administrator.
  • Regular travel to sites in ROI and GB is a fundamental aspect of this role.

The Person

  • Effective communication skills, both internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing fit-out projects ranging from £100k to £1m.
  • Preferably, background in joinery and cabinet-making.
  • Possession of CSCS Site Supervisor Card (or equivalent) and First Aid Training Card.
  • Comfortable leading while working within a team framework.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to exceptional quality.
  • Proficient in managing subcontractors and trades.
  • Willingness to travel and accommodate week-long stays.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines.
  • Valid full driving license.
