Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Site Installation Engineer to join their client, a large industrial door company covering the UK.

Based from the site in Preston, the purpose of the role is to visit customer sites as part of a small team, install, service and maintain various types of doors. All doors can be either mechanical or electrically operated.

Duties will include:

* Ensure the project is completed within the allocate time and to the high standards required.

* Provide an innovative and technically aware approach to problem solving.

* Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

* Ensure that all HSE and company paperwork is completed and returned to the office after the project has been completed.

* Ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out on equipment in line with relevant standards.

This is a National role, successful candidates will be working away from home for a large percentage of the time, which could include the odd weekend. Must have previous experience working in a similar role, working as part of an installation/service team on site.

It is essential that the successful candidate has a full, manual, UK Driving licence. A CSCS card is also required. The successful candidate will undergo security clearance which includes background checks, employment checks and a medical.

Hours of work are generally, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-2pm. An allowance is paid for every night spent away.
