Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a highways scheme in Reading. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site engineering activities, including setting out, surveying, and quality control.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
