Site Engineer – Midlands
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor within the heart of the Midlands for a range of exciting and prestigious projects. As the Site Engineer, you will deliver the section of works on time, understanding the project set-up, the roles played by different members of the team and details of the site and construction. Be fully aware of what has to be delivered and use this information to produce a short-term programme to complete the works required in this period. 

Oversee engineering requirements demanded in the delivery of the scope of work or on larger projects, of a subcontractor, to meet the construction programme, working and coordinating with larger teams and ensure all works and personnel meet all Health, Safety and Quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for setting out for line and level on the site, obtaining setting out details from the construction drawings
  • Take off materials in an auditable system and prepare requisitions, along with delivery schedules and material storage plan
  • Understanding of the principles of Building Information Modelling

 Skills:
  • Relevant construction related degree
  • CSCS – Managers Card
  • SMSTS
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Site Engineering role 
  • Understanding of BIM Level 2 is desirable
  • First Aid at work desirable
  • Relevant driving licence
