Site Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join an exciting long term project in Reading - outside IR35 paying CIS

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to groundworks, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct site surveys, set out works, and provide technical guidance to the construction team.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any technical issues.
• Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, and implement corrective measures when necessary to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials used, and workforce productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on groundworks projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment and CAD software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
