Site Engineer

Randstad C&P are current;y recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background working in the construction industry on steel frame, industrial schemes. Candidates must have experience working on industrial projects or be open to working on this type of scheme. The ability to set out using various instruments is required, as is prior experience as a Site Engineer on a consrtuction or infrastructure scheme.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize precision and technical skills to accurately set out steel frame structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Conduct comprehensive surveys to ensure alignment, level, and dimensions of steel frame components meet project requirements.

• Take the lead in ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to on-site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

• Handle all relevant paperwork efficiently, including health and safety documentation, permits, and project reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression and timely completion.

• Proactively identify and resolve engineering challenges that may arise during the construction phase, demonstrating resourcefulness and expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on steel frame projects.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
