Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the assigned project section, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  3. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.

  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, providing proactive solutions to keep the project on track.

  5. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the project management team, clients, and stakeholders.

  6. Health and Safety: Prioritise and enforce health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety throughout the project.

  7. Documentation: Keep accurate records of project progress, variations, and any issues that may arise, ensuring compliance with company and client procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  2. Proven experience as a Sub Agent on large-scale civil engineering projects, preferably within the rail or infrastructure sector.

  3. Strong understanding of HS2 project requirements and standards.

  4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  5. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

  6. Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
