SITE CLEANING CONTRACT MANAGER

The Opportunity

We are a contract cleaning and soft services provider to the FM arena in London, and widely regarded as the employer of choice. We manage and support both end user clients and managing agents with several Iconic buildings and developments you will recognise.

Working in a high-profile campus in Chiswick, the Site Cleaning Manager will proactively support the Account Manager in delivering the contract and ensuring that agreed Key performance indicators and Service level agreements are delivered to a high standard.

The Shift

  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm

The Package

  • £44k basic
  • 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

The Role of the Site Contract Cleaning Manager

  • All staff under your supervision achieve development plans.
  • The company training programme is delivered.
  • All systems are operated in line with defined company procedures /standards.
  • Staff churn rate of less than 10%.
  • Site achieve a minimum of 85% scores in monthly KPI meetings.
  • All contracts meet legislative requirements for Health and Safety
  • Business achieves the budgeted Net Operating Profit for the period and the year.
  • A one-year strategic objective plan is established and delivered.
  • Delivery of a 5-star service across the site in line and accordance with our values.
  • Delivery of all added value and innovation commitment across the site.
  • Developing client relationships with each client stakeholder.
  • Applying strategies to reinforce the Brand.
  • Ensuring all team members identify with and understand the company values.
  • Aged Debt is kept to a minimum at all times.
  • Contracts remain on budget and achieve set projections.
  • Annual portfolio growth.
  • Delivery of Roadmap cost savings.

The Person

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the cleaning industry.
  • Solid knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, clients, and other departments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations, multitask, and solve problems efficiently
  • Site meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) are focused and interactive and serve to motivate and give direction.
  • Generates a 'Team’ environment, where staff help each other and recognise that they individually are responsible for the whole and the Manager’s role is fully understood.
  • Controls, optimises, and monitors the investment in all resources, constantly assessing the effect, efficiency and value. Make changes which reflect a policy of continuous improvement.
  • Ensures all team members know and work to internal customer/ support function requirements/deadlines. Where appropriate, changes to these are proposed, supported by a clear business case.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Facilities Management
  • IOSH Managing Safely is desirable
  • Experience in management of budgets
