Silversmith Repair Manager

Full-time hours working a part-time week - i.e. Monday - Thursday and Friday off - up to £30,000.

Nationwide Recruitment Services (NRS) client is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Silver Repair Manager, who has experience as a silversmith / Jewellery maker/ repairer, polisher and assemble.

This is a full-time permanent role, but only working part-time days, 4 days per week, condensed hours only working Monday - Thursday and Friday off.

The company has an exciting opportunity to join them as a silver repairer.

YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A SILVER SMITH REPAIR/ POLISHER/ ASSEMBLER.

The successful candidate will need to have either experience or a qualification in Jewellery/silversmithing/ silver polishing, silver repairing or silver assembling.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a semi-precious production/ materials person to work for a niche business in a small team.

Background or education/training in SILVER REPAIRS, SILVER ASSEMBLY, silversmith, goldsmith, semi-precious metals, or precious metals/ silver repair/ silver assembly.

ROLE:

  • Repairing, producing and manufacturing silver and semi-precious metal pieces using skilled production/ silversmith methods.
  • Using labour-intensive repair methods, manufacturing and craftsmanship The main purpose of this role is to maintain high standards of repairs and assist the production and crafting working in a team of production staff in a successful tooling/instruments environment.
  • You will be responsible for all repairs in and all repairs out, booking them and the associated physical and administrative tasks associated with Silver Smith repairs.
  • The team are easy to get along with, motivated and ensures production targets are met, high standards are achieved, and any improvements are introduced.
  • Ensuring health and safety as well as maintaining stock levels

Requirements:

Must have training, and experience in silver, gold, metal production/ repair, assembly, manufacturing/ jewellery making or silver smith/ gold smith, please send us your CV.

Must have silversmith repairs/ polishing and assembling experience.

Enthusiastic and positive team player

Happy to do a labour intensive role.

Happy with a very precise role making small articles by hand with multiple small parts, can be fiddly but rewarding work!

The role is accessible by train or bus and based in central Birmingham. This may suit someone who has a background or studied in the manufacturing production or metal work or as a silver smith, silver worker, goldsmith or other metals.
