Job Title: Communication Support Worker (BSL)

Reed Further Education are recruiting British Sign Language communicators in Merseyside.
Our clients are looking for multiple CSWs to work with students, aged 16-19 years old, with hearing impairment.
These roles are a fantastic opportunity to work with education, full or part time for the whole academic year.
The successful Communication Support Worker will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with students/young adults in either a high school setting, college setting or support and care setting.
- Experience with signing, using BSL
- A good understanding and commitment to Safeguarding
- British Sign Language from Level 3 minimum
- A minimum of GCSE A-C/Level 2 in English and Maths.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
"All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
