Sign Fitters Mate

Location: Colchester, Essex

Salary: DOE

Company: A well-established leading signage company.

Role: Our client is currently looking for a sign fitters mate to join their growing team in Essex.

This role will require someone with some experience in the installation of signage and graphics.

  • Install all types of signage including internal, external, Neon and LED, digital and graphics etc.
  • Follow all company procedures for install of signage and graphics
  • Take responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working
  • Be flexible with start and finish times to enable the company to deliver jobs effectively
  • Work as part of a team to deliver on set targets
  • Working closely with the lead sign fitter and production staff to achieve high quality installations
  • CSCS card is preferential
  • The position will require working nationwide, overnight stays as well as night work

Requirements:

  • Knowledge / experience of working within in the sign industry
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a sign fitters mate / sign fitter
  • You will need a positive attitude for hands on work
  • A strong desire to work within a team and to be able to assist as and when required
  • Self-motivated and driven individual
  • CSCS Card, Safety Passport, Pasma and IPAF would be an advantage.
  • Be flexible when it comes to working hours
  • Full driving license
