The Showroom Host role:

As a Showroom Host you are a central member of the team and a first point of contact for our customers. Your role is to provide a seamless service in a fast-paced environment. Professional and friendly, you will be responsible for welcoming customers to the showroom, helping them with their inquiries and setting the benchmark for the customer experience they expect. Immaculately presented in business attire, with a passion for delivering great customer service, you will present the best image for Parks Carlisle.

You will have a proven track record in the delivery of great customer service and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Highlights of the Role:

+ Greet and welcome customers and visitors into the showroom providing an excellent level of customer service
+ Managing day-to-day hospitality requirements and serving refreshments to customers.
+ Encourage customers to engage with the product and services in a relaxed environment
+ Handle basic queries on product, using supporting information, so the customer feels they have been professionally dealt with
+ Determine the next appropriate interaction to ensure the customer experience is personalised and efficient
+ Brief and update the relevant specialist and update sales executives on customer needs
+ Ensuring the showroom is well presented at all times.
+ Handle inbound telephone calls and directs to relevant colleagues
+ Work with the showroom team to support promotions and events ensuring brochures are up to date and in the right place
+ Aware of 'Voice of the Customer’ data which helps inform your approach to the customer
+ Maintaining accurate customer records
+ Attend training and meetings to continuously learn and gain product knowledge to enable progression in the role
+ Work as a fully embedded member of the Centre team ensuring sales opportunities are handed over seamlessly to sales colleagues

What we are looking for:

+ A full UK driving licence
+ Eligibility to work in the UK
+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to the training sessions)
+ A professional and smart personal appearance
+ An excellent communicator with high standards of verbal and written communication
+ Ideally GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
+ Good IT and administrative skills
+ Previous relevant experience within customer services or logistics
