We have an exciting opportunity for you as a Duty and Training Planning Manager with our reputable public sector client! Competitive salary: £34,000-£38,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the production of the weekly duty roster.
  • Manage the duty planning function end-to-end, ensuring an effective deployment and training management service for staff.
  • Lead and manage a team of Duty Planners and ensure the provision of an efficient and effective duty and training planning service for all staff members.

Skills and requirements:

  • Proven experience in duty planning / staff shift planning / co-ordinating role or a similar position.
  • Proficiency in using planning software and systems (Crown DMS systems experience is desirable).
  • Strong leadership experience to manage and develop the duty planning team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • SC level security clearance (the client will complete your SC clearance for you if successful).
