Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Bradford, West Yorkshire

Full time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Weekday rotating days/nights- NO WEEKEND WORKING

  • Wk1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Day shift 6am - 6pm)
  • Wk2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Night shift 6pm - 6am)
  • WK3 - Monday, Tuesday (Day shift 6am - 6pm) Thursday, Friday (Night shift 6pm - 6am)

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Previous hands on experience as a maintenance engineer of equivalent
  • A bias towards electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience within a CNC manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience in the automotive/assembly industry would be beneficial.
  • Excellent fault diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Any experience in service or maintenance on: Lathes, Mills, Grinders, robotics and automated and semi automated assembly lines would be beneficial.

Working as part of the highly skilled and experienced maintenance team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reacting to breakdowns, operating safely to ensure the repair of machinery and efficient running of production.
  • Machinery servicing- conducting planned maintenance schedules
  • Project work- you will be assigned projects within the facility to ensure variety of day to day tasks
  • Carry out continuous improvement activities
  • Assisting or leading new machinery installations
