Shift Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Engineer based within Leeds, LS9

Work alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard.

To Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.

To Manage a small shift team consisting of Maintenance Craftsman and Maintenance Assistants

Available shifts / Locations below:

• Postcode: LS9 7TF
• The shifts are 4 days then 4 off then 4 nights 4 off.
• 06:00 am till 18:00pm and 18:00pm to 06:00am
• £17.24 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
• Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.

Skills and experience required:

• Must have at least 2 years previous experience
• DBS Required
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Able to manage time effectively
• Ability to work both alone and in a team
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Lead the shift team and provide support to working colleague’s
• To Provide a customer facing responsive maintenance services to the site.
• To undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out to a very high standard
• To also carry out training to be able to provide Authorised person duties.

Must have experience working with the following:

• Heating and domestic water services
• General Electrical services such as lighting and power
• Air handling units
• Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear
• Emergency standby generating plant
• Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
• Electrical control systems
• Building Management System
