We are currently looking for a Shift Analytical Chemist to join a leading pharmaceutical company. The company is based in Northern Ireland. As the Analytical Chemist you will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytical skills, employing techniques like HPLC, GC, IC, UV for all assigned analytical duties relating to the QC operations within the processes.

This role is shift based and you will receive a generous shift allowance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Conducting routine sample analysis utilizing advanced techniques like HPLC, GC, IC, and UV to release materials in line with manufacturing requirements.

2. Precisely recording analytical data with a keen focus on compliance with standard operating procedures.

3. Undertaking instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

4.Collaborating seamlessly with the analytical team to meet project deadlines and uphold stringent quality standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Shift Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in performing analytical testing, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment (GMP/GLP)

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, IC, and UV.
