CDM Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Main Responsibilities:


  • Stay updated on CDM practices, legislation, and standards.
  • Collaborate with external Principal Designers and clients to plan, manage, and monitor pre-construction phases.
  • Maintain a log of Principal Designer/CDM(A) appointments and ensure compliance.
  • Advise the Client on pre-construction information required by the Principal Designer.
  • Review Principal Designer/CDM(A) liaison with the PC throughout construction phases.
  • Lead the collation of information for health and safety files.

Main Requirements:

  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • NEBOSH Construction certification.
  • Grad IOSH and Member IIRSM.
  • Evidence of FM knowledge or consultancy experience.
  • Confidence to challenge existing procedures.
  • Experience in large or complex projects, including CDM knowledge.
