We are looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to be based in our Ashford office with weekly site visits and regular visits to our other offices in Doncaster. This role is office and site based with the management of our compliance being kept up to date as well as regular site audits getting you out and about.

Your main duties will include:

  • Responsible for internal and external audits including RISQS, ISO:9001 and FORS
  • Promoting a positive safety culture
  • Weekly site visits
  • Writing and briefing TBT's
  • Maintaining our Management System
  • Reviewing and updating our policies and procedures
  • Writing and updating RAMS
  • Fatigue management for site staff
  • Accident & incident reporting, investigation and close out.
  • Keeping up to date with current H&S legislation and implementing changes as required
  • Implementing updates from our external Safety Consultant
  • Managing GDPR/Data Protection compliance
  • Risk assessment, medication reviews and DSE assessments for all staff
  • Managing accreditation portals
  • Supply chain review
  • Client audits
  • Assistance with ITT/PQQs
  • Attending regular client SHELT meetings

This role calls for someone with a passion for promoting a positive safety culture, driving the business processes and practices in line with our clients needs and the industry's standards to provide a safety culture of excellence within our industry.

To be successful in your application you must come from a Rail H&S background, have experience of managing full management systems and either already have or be working towards both Tech IOSH and Associate IEMA. Ideally you will be an experienced Sentinel Card holder endorsed with PTS with site-based experience and knowledge. Knowledge of FORS and fleet safety, the ORR and RSSB is essential.
