Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker, who is able to use an array of hand and power tools to finish work to the highest standards? Do you take pride in meeting production timelines? We are supporting an employee focused, 1st tier manufacturer, that provide critically sensitive components to the Aerospace and Power Generation sectors– to grow their team and exceed customer expectations.

Up to £13.38 per hour / £27,134.64 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm

Sheet Metal Worker
Job Description
  • Using hand, power, and air tools, safely to complete works (drills, grinders, files, and snips to name a few)
  • Undertaking Spot-Welding, when required.
  • Cutting, shaping, and/or forming sheet metal in a workshop setting. This may include working with exotic metals.
  • Roll-forming and expanding.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience using manufacturing hand tools and deburring/linishing/grinding/fettling sheet metal or metal components.
  • Confident working from job cards/drawings.
  • Able to work at a bench/stand for extended periods of time.
