Have you got experience working in a Sheet Metal position?

Are you familiar with reading CAD drawings?

Our client is a large manufacturer based in Thanet who provides trusted products for some of the biggest brands in the UK, and they are looking for a Sheet Metal Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis

As the Sheet Metal Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating various sheet metal fabrication machinery including shears, press brakes, punch presses, and laser cutting machines.
  • Reading engineering CAD drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Setting up machinery and equipment according to job requirements
  • Cutting, bending, shaping, and forming sheet metal to precise measurements

Person Specification:

  • Must have previous experience working in a sheet metal role
  • Proficiency in operating sheet metal machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints
