HSE recruitment are working with a global manufacturing company to find them a new SHE Manager at their facility outside of Crewe.

It is an impressive and highly automated, Upper Tier COMAH site with circa 400 staff. This is a very fast paced site going through increased industry demands so they need someone who can join a transitioning business and who can react and adapt to changing demands and pressures.
Reporting into the senior site operations manager and a dotted line into the division SHE manager, you will have the autonomy to lead SHE across the site with your team of 6 with the support of the wider group. You will liaise and influencing key stakeholders to ensure that the strategic SHE objectives are being delivered. There are strong procedures and processes in place and established ISO systems which you will manage. Being part of a larger group you will implement group policies and reporting upwards on key data.
What we are looking for:

  • Experienced SHE Manager with experience managing a team- potentially someone stepping up from a smaller site or team.
  • COMAH experience is essential along with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma of Degree level qualified in Health & Safety.
  • ISO Systems experience.

Salary and package- up to £62,000 + 10% annual bonus, pension is matched +2% at max 8%, 25 days holiday + BH, life assurance 6x basic salary. Flexible working, an employee assistance programme, Cycle2work and employee discounts.
