Shared Services Manager
Radley Green is partnering with a truly international business to recruit an experienced Shared Services Manager into a newly created role.
This is an established business with a revenue of £1bn+ and a large finance team based in the UK and internationally.
This role will report into the Finance Director and will oversee the full Transactional team, systems and processes. The role will include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll teams with 4 direct reports and an overall team of 25.
This is a critical role and will play a big part in driving performance across finance and in a growing, global business.
Candidates must be Qualified accountants, must have managed large teams and must have experience reviewing Financial Operations processes (AP, AR, GL, Intercompany). Unfortunately our client will not consider anyone who is not a Qualified accountant due to some of the transformation work that needs to be done.
This role will pay £85k -£92k + bonus and great benefits. This role will be 3-4 days a week in the office in Central London due to management of large team and ongoing finance transformation project.
The responsibilities will include:
- Managing and develop a large Financial Operations team of 25 people - AP, AR, GL and Payroll accounting
- Review and development of all general ledger processes
- Oversee and manage the month end close processes
- Working with Finance Director to develop and manage all FinOps controls and processes.
- Play a role in all systems developments and process improvements.
- Overseeing all aged debtor and creditor reports and processes
- Involvement in year end processes
- Work on a multitude of financial projects during the overall financial transformation
- Play a key role in year end Audit, Year end processes and multiple finance projects
The role requires:
- A technically strong Qualified Accountant with a background in managing, and motivating, large teams
- Extensive Financial Operations / Transactional Accounting experience
- Experience working in a large business and having oversight of transactional processes
- The ability to communicate effectively and manage change.
