Sewing Machinist

We are on the lookout for a Sewing Machinist for our well-established client based in Banbury. This is a permanent role, and the salary is £25,000 to £28,000 per annum. This role will be working Monday to Friday with no weekends.

Our clientis a family-run business dedicated to manufacturing high quality, cost effective and sustainable products, specialising in the corporate clothing, workwear and promotional clothing market sectors and the workplace and leisure furniture market sectors.

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Competent in the use of sewing techniques e.g. piping, twin needling, and top stitching.
• Ability to work in collaboration with the upholstery team to achieve required quality of finish.
• Able to sew with wide variety of commercial fabric types.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve sewing related issues.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
• A flexible attitude to learn new skills and ways of working.
