Sewing Machinist

Pay rate - £11.44 - 12.50 per hour dependant on experience.

(£22,750pa Permanent equivalent)

My client who are an online ladies fashion company are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join their team on a temporary basis although this may lead to a permanent position.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9 - 5

• Making up garments from patterns 
• Skilfully altering and repairing garments to meet clients' needs. This includes hemming, adjusting seams, replacing buttons, fixing damaged dresses.
• Working within a small team of other seamstresses.

Key skills & Experience

• Proven sewing experience is essential.
• Familiarity with various fabrics and sewing techniques.
• Precise attention to detail.
• Communication skills.
• Machine proficiency.
• Hand-eye coordination - essential for accurate stitching.
