Setting Out Engineer

Our client boasts over 40 years of experience in infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. As a Setting out Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in both office-based and on-site tasks, catering to the needs of our clients' projects.

A valid UK Driving Licence is a prerequisite for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting out for Housing, Construction, and Civil Engineering Projects
• Utilising surveying equipment such as GPS and Robotic Stations
• Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards on-site
• Collaborating with Site Managers and teams to ensure material specifications are met
• Compiling Setting out data
• Handling Machine Control models
• Conducting Earthworks surveys and measurements

This role is suitable for experienced Setting out Engineers or individuals with a background in the construction industry seeking a new career path. Our client provides comprehensive training programs aligned with regulatory standards.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Degree or HNC/D qualification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Leica/Trimble Survey instruments
• Hold or be working towards CICES/RICS membership
