Tennial Personnel are seeking a Setter to work on a temporary to permanent assignment ( after qualifying period of 12 weeks ) you will be Working for a company who manufacture Pump & Value Components for a range of global industries, in an extensive range of complex materials. With a culture of continuous improvement, continued investment and overt teamwork. Your duties will include working primarily for our clients sand casting process, with the following non – exhaustive range of processes. You will produce sand moulds using a pre produced pattern , along with ramming sand into boxes and curing with C02, you will also strip the cured mould check the quality before presenting to the next process , along with being able to prepare moulds for assembly through coating , painting with refactoring coating , you will also set cores into mould and close cope , drag parts of mould to form fully assembled sand moulds , thereafter making final preparations prior to molten and metal pouring , you will have the ability to read and understand process method sheet and work sheets , you will also be responsible for operating overhead crane driving and slinging , manual craft foundry making bespoke parts in small batched , you may also be required to transfer into complementary departments when demand and skills coverage is required , full training will be supplied experience within a similar field is desirable , in the first instance please send an up to date cv to
