Service Technician

Your future employer is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their industry leading, and growing business, in the landpower industry as a Service Technician. A generous package is on offer including a salary up to £29,000, 32 days holiday (including BH), a highly competitive pension, and continuous training and development. The work is mainly Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available. The work consists of servicing and repairing hire vehicles (small wheeled electric, petrol and diesel), carrying out reactive and seasonal maintenance.

The ideal experience for this position will be someone who is experienced with agriculture, automotive or construction vehicles. Full manufacturer training will be provided, however a baseline level of knowledge is required.

Duties of the Service Technician:

• Servicing and repairing a variety of small wheeled vehicles
• Carrying out scheduled servicing on the vehicles ready for the next season
• Carrying out vehicles inspections
• Attending on-site calls as required
• Completing reports and job sheets after every job
• Taking supporting photographs of works
• Liaising with customers as required

Requirements of the Service Technician:

• Previous experience in mechanics and/or diagnostics of vehicles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good IT skills
• Strong customer service experience
• A full UK drivers licence
