Your future employer has a fantastic opportunity to join their well-established, and rapidly growing business as a Service Technician, working with a variety of vehicles and grounds equipment. A very generous salary of £24,000 - £30,000 is on offer for the ideal candidate, as well as 32 days holiday (including BH), an impressive pension scheme, continuous training and development, and the opportunity for overtime. This is a Monday to Friday only position, with the exception of some Saturdays during the busy season.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with agricultural, construction, commercial, or assembly vehicles. Full training will be provided, but an understanding of the equipment is essential.

Duties of the Service Technician:

  • Servicing and maintaining a variety of grounds machinery, such as: utility vehicles, professional mowing equipment, handheld equipment, and more
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections of machinery, ensuring everything is perfect
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic faults, and carrying out repairs
  • Operating diagnostic software on the company laptop
  • Completing paperwork and admin tasks as required
  • Logging all work, and supplying supporting photographs

Required experience of the Service Technician:

  • A background in agricultural, construction, commercial, or assembly vehicles
  • Hands-on and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A UK drivers licence
