Are you a passionate, dedicated Service Manager looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Service Manager to join the team based in East London.

Full time Post 36 hours per week)

£20.28-£25.58 per hour Umbrella Rates

About the Service:

Information on the Role:

  • To oversee and effectively manage supported accommodation for single people with complex needs; including but not limited to those with Mental Health problems, substance misuse issues and other secondary support needs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of service quality, performance, and improvements are achieved.
  • To support the Rough Sleeping Lead in the implementation and delivery of service monitoring and development and to contribute to the strategic direction of the service.
  • To provide excellent leadership of the teams to ensure that thorough up to date support and move on plans are in place.
  • To work with colleagues and community agencies to develop and ensure a psychologically informed approach is in place offering and ensuring that a range of on-site activities and specialist services are accessible to clients who need them, and that services operate and are deployed as a structured and cohesive programme.
  • To lead the delivery of an innovative, best practice service focusing on enabling vulnerable individuals to meet their full potential to enable them to live independently.
  • Participate in the management of the Housing Needs Service as a member of the Housing Needs management team.
  • Contribute to the overall management of the rough sleeping service and report to and deputise for the rough sleeping lead.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of the rough sleeping pathway taking into account current legislation and council policy.

Essential Requirements:

  • Professional housing qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the law relating to homelessness as covered by the 1996 housing act and the homeless reduction act 2017.0
  • Experience of case management and safeguarding
  • Extensive experience working with people who at risk of homelessness and who are vulnerable with complex needs.
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • To be flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
