Service Manager Urgently Required

Make a difference supporting vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness. In this crucial Hostel service manager role with a vital service in Salisbury. you'll provide trauma-informed care, manage complex caseloads, and collaborate across agencies. Use your exceptional people skills and compliance knowledge to navigate crises and ensure maximum support. Join a compassionate team delivering vital homelessness services in Salisbury.

*Must have a DBS on the update service and experience in the mental health or homelessness support sectors

Location: Salisbury

Contract duration:  3 Months (Temp with opportunity for permanent)

Hours: 37.5

Salary: £19.42  -26.10 (VIA UMBRELLA)

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of support Workers
  • Onboard and induct new team members
  • Create and monitor Risk assessments
  • Ensure legal compliance and effective day to day running of the service
  • Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed
  • Implement and adapt policies and procedures as needed
  • Represent vulnerable service users at multi agency meetings
  • Conduct Critical incident debriefs
  • Conduct regular team 1-2-1’s and appraisals
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity

Essential criteria include:

  • DBS on the update service or made with in the last year
  • Have a car and a valid UK driving licence
