Are you an experienced electrical engineer? Our client, a provider of medical technologies, are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team and provide service and installation services in hospitals across the UK.

Our client prides themselves on providing the NHS and private hospitals with efficient, high-quality services on products ranging from theatre lighting to camera technology.

The role

This role is all about uptime and installation! You’ll spend your days travelling to customer sites to support with breakdown repairs, PPM schedules, installations and more. Great customer service is at the heart of this role, so you’ll be tasked with providing efficient and high-quality service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out repair, maintenance and installation

  • Liasing with customers to provide solutions to customer problems

  • Completing appropriate documentation

  • Contributing to continuous improvement

A bit about you

Ideally you’ll be an experienced electrical engineer, who also understands mechanical principles. As well as that, you’ll:

  • Have electrical-focused qualifications, ideally a L3 Diploma in Electrical Installations

  • Have strong working knowledge of electronic circuits

  • Be able to travel across the UK to client sites (enjoying driving is key!)

  • Be a strong communicator

  • Show initiative and be able to work independently

Experience in hospital or theatre environments would be a plus, but aren’t essential as you’ll get full in-house product training.

If you’re newly qualified with a willingness to learn you’d also be considered for this role - our client is open to someone who wants to start their career too.
