Service Engineer

Personnel Selection are working with this fantastic business, who are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join their expanding workforce.

Who are they?

My client is a privately owned engineering SME based in Wiltshire, with clients all over the globe - some of whom are still customer after over 3 decades! They are a profitable, innovative business and have secured exciting long-term contracts with some extremely well-known companies. The business is recognised within the industry for their fantastic product quality and pioneering engineering techniques.

What does the role involve?

Working largely at the Rotherham site, fault finding and diagnosing issues on mechanical equipment. Whilst on-site, you will be working alongside a small team of experienced service engineers – this is a hard-working and friendly team, who all enjoy working in a enjoyable and professional environment.

Are you the right person for this role?

We want to hear from you if you have a passion for mechanics; you may enjoy tinkering on your own car / motorbike and have that knowledge & understanding of how mechanical equipment works. Or, you may have worked in a similar mechanically focused service engineer role and want to make the move across to this thriving and innovative business who focus on ongoing training, development and support.

You must have a personable and approachable nature and a willingness to learn. Good communication skills, IT knowledge and a full driving license are also essential requirements.

What is the package?

A base salary TBD+ Company Van + Private Pension + Commission + No Callouts + Bespoke Manufacturer Training.

OT is paid at time and a third Mon-Sat and double time on Sunday and Bank holidays. Bank holiday and Sunday working is very rare and Saturday working is rare.
