Your future employer is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their well-established and rapidly growing business as a Service Engineer. A generous package is available for the right candidate, including a package of £45,000 OTE, 32 days holiday (including BH), a highly competitive pension scheme, a company vehicle, as well as continuous training and development. This position is Monday to Friday only, with the exception of some Saturday mornings during the peak season.

The ideal candidate will have previous engineering experience within agriculture, construction or commercial vehicles. As the position is field based, a full UK drivers licence is also required.

Duties of the Service Engineer:

  • Carrying out servicing and repairs across high-end manufacturer equipment
  • Carrying out diagnostics on machinery, and servicing the fault
  • Carrying out electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical servicing and repairs
  • Liaising with the service team with incoming and planned works
  • Operating diagnostic software on the company laptop
  • Checking and reporting spare parts used in works and ordering in as required
  • Filling out job sheets and reporting accurate information of the works
  • Providing excellent customer service

Required experience and skills of the Service Engineer:

  • Previous experience working on agricultural, construction or commercial vehicles
  • Experience operating machinery for inspection and test purposes
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • A full UK drivers licence
