A privately owned, small technology company are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team based in Exeter. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be required to conduct site visits mainly in Devon and on occasion, you will need to travel further afield i.e. Cornwall, Somerset, and Bristol areas.

The role offers hybrid working; with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, Monday to Friday covering 8 am- 6 pm (Rota).

You must have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle with business insurance.

Service Desk Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for customers contacting the Service Desk, taking ownership of the enquiry from start to finish
  • Dealing with a range of customer incidents, resolving, and progressing proactive alerts, both in person and remotely
  • Providing support to the internal training team
  • Providing customers with a one-stop support service

Service Desk Analyst Requirements:

  • Proven experience in providing excellent IT support
  • Experience working within a Service Level Agreement (SLA) environments
  • Microsoft Certified on a desktop Operating System (Windows 7 onwards)
  • Familiarity with HP System Manager, Dell OpenManage, ymantec Backup Exec, Veeam, Datto, NSLookup, Ping, and Tracert
  • Experience with 3rd party Vendors - HP Dell and Lenovo
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle with Business Insurance
