As a Service Advisor you will be the primary point of contact for their valued customers, ensuring their experience with our clients service and repair garage is exceptional from start to finish. You will play a crucial role in liaising between customers and their team of skilled technicians to facilitate efficient and effective vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Responsibilities for the Sales Advisor Role include:

  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Clearly explain maintenance and repair options to customers, including cost estimates and timeframes, keeping customers updated at all times.
  • Schedule service appointments and maintain accurate service records.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Check stock levels and ordering replacement parts via phone calls/emails.
  • Supporting the service manager, scheduling of work, and preparing workflow plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Sales Advisor role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and if you have used TechMan that would be a huge advantage.
  • Full, UK Driving Licence essential, held for at least two years.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (1 Hour break)
  • Occasional Saturday 8am-1pm (maximum 4 Saturdays a year)
