Serious Injury Team Leader

This leading, national law firm is currently looking to hire a Serious Injury Team Leader, based in Leeds on a hybrid basis. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a Serious Injury team who deal with cases with values exceeding £25,000 through to multi-millions. The successful candidate should be a qualified Grade A Solicitor/FCILEX with a solid track record of successfully dealing with multi-track work.

To be considered for this role you will have significant experience of handling serious injury claims and litigation experience with sound knowledge of the CPR, litigation process and cost budgeting process and be experienced at dealing with a diverse range of liability scenarios including EL/PL as well as RTAs and multiple defendants.

Accountable for:

• Providing inspirational leadership to teams, including recruitment, motivation, training and supporting of team members
• Ensuring the progression of all cases in the team up to the point of settlement
• Ensuring the team provides outstanding service to customers
• Ensuring the team’s financial performance KPIs are delivered and maintained

The successful candidate will also have conduct of a diverse caseload of multi-track cases valued in excess of £25,000, including RTA, EL, PL and OL work. You should also have a proven track record of success in serious injury personal injury work.
